Tales from the Factory Floor

17th March 2016

Andy Thorne at Factory Pattern Talking about User Experience

Tales from the Factory Floor is a series of talks designed to get you thinking differently, to help you improve your business. We hosted the first talk on the 11th March 2016 and here’s what happened.

Andy Thorne at Factory Pattern Talking about User Experience

About the Day

Fridays talks were focused on the importance of user experience, or UX and explained how designing an experience based around the needs of your customers will improve business.

Joining us on the Factory Floor was Felix Elliot-Berry, from Sibling Distillery and Richard Cartlidge from The Art of Thriving.

Felix is co-founder of Sibling Distillery, 1 of the top 3 gins in the UK, and he told us his story and how their customer focused approach helped them to create an amazing gin.

We also heard from Richard Cartlidge from The Art of Thriving, who is the master of thinking differently. He’s an executive coach and leadership consultant, who supports organisations and their teams in their quest for greatness.

Tasty Nosh

We were also privileged to have the amazingly tasty  Simpsons Fish and Chips  provide us all with lunch and the deliciously indulgent Hobbs House Bakery who bought along the great Sherston loaf for chip butties and some tasty brownies for pud.

See all the action from the event. We’ve broke down the day into 3 videos below (even though they all look the same, they are all different time slots).
