Local SEO For Salon Group
We’ve been working with Blushes on their search engine optimisation (SEO) for almost a year and have seen great results in increasing the organic traffic to their website. With a new salon location added in 2021, the emphasis was on ensuring that the salon ranked for Oxford keywords and gained bookings from those in the local area.

About the Client
Blushes are a hairdressing group, with salons in Cheltenham, Worcester, Cirencester and Nailsworth. The group recently added a new salon to their portfolio with Blushes Oxford opening its doors in April 2021.
Blushes tasked us with improving their organic search performance, increasing non-brand keyword rankings and organic traffic for each of their locations.
Marketing Director, Blushes
"The focus on results and data from Andy and the team has been a real asset for the Blushes marketing. From analysing what our competitors are doing, to breaking down our marketing goals into actionable insights, we thoroughly enjoy working with the FP team on fresh new website content and SEO. We regularly meet to delve deeper into the performance of our website and find ways that we can improve our client user experience.
We love working with an agency that always brings fresh ideas forward and supports our in-house marketing strategies to get the most out of our website and push the business forward.
Skilled, personable and love a challenge. Couldn't recommend highly enough."
Our process began with thorough keyword research for relevant terms to each location, as well as auditing the Blushes website and competitors’ website. We then started the on-going optimisation of the salon pages, created targeted content and generated internal links across the website.
- Organic traffic to the Blushes site increased by almost 180%, while bounce rate halved.
- Our targeted content marketing resulted in a 92% increase in blog views, with almost 300 conversions coming directly from blog posts
- Keyword rankings saw a major increase, with 57 keywords now ranking on the first page of Google - with 8 in the top 3 results
