About the Client

Shopping Roulette is a unique social e-commerce experience that brings you together with other customers to compete for the chance to win your shopping for free.

Our Brief

As a unique, social e-commerce experience, it was crucial to effectively explain the value proposition of Shopping Roulette.

The initial version of the site didn't explain the value proposition of Shopping Roulette well. It just looked like a standard e-commerce store and was confusing to users.

In order for the process to be clear to users, Shopping Roulette needed a UX focused redesign.

The Solution

An initial UX audit of the Shopping Roulette existing site, highlighted where the opportunities for improvement were.

We used this information to determine the areas of the site that needed improvement to meet user expectations, offer more clarity and value.

Redesigning poorly performing pages helped to remove any friction that would potentially lead to uncertainty when it comes to making a purchase and helped to increase the motivation to buy by reducing distractions on the page.

The Outputs

By identifying user needs and translating them across the website we were able to meet their expectations and offer clear concise content that communicated value and increased user motivation.
User research and further testing after the site improvements were made proved successful and the UX focused redesign made the launch of new platform Shopping Roulette a success.
