About the Client

Shopping Roulette is a unique social ecommerce experience that brings you together with other customers to compete for the chance to win your shopping for free.

Our Brief

As a unique, social ecommerce experience, it was crucial to effectively explain the value proposition of Shopping Roulette.

The initial version of the site didn't explain the value proposition of Shopping Roulette well, and the site looked identical to a standard online retail shop. This was confusing to users.

Shopping Roulette needed a UX focused redesign to make the user journey through the site clear.

The Solution

An initial UX audit of Shopping Roulette's existing site, highlighted where the opportunities for improvement were.

We used this information to determine where we could better meet user expectations, offer more clarity and add value.

Redesigning poorly performing pages helped to remove any friction that could lead to user uncertainty when making a purchase. Reducing distractions on the page helped to increase the motivation to buy.

The Outputs

By identifying user needs and translating them into solutions across the website we were able to meet their expectations and offer clear concise content that communicated value and increased user motivation.
Both further testing after the site improvements were made, and our user research, proved successful. The UX focused redesign made the launch of the new platform Shopping Roulette a success.
