We’re hiring a freelance developer to support a range of projects over the next 3–6 months. You’ll be joining part-time (2 days/week), working alongside our in-house team.
You'll help deliver fast, user-friendly, maintainable websites; often joining projects already in flight.
Build and maintain custom themes/components in Statamic and WordPress
Write clean, semantic PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implement modern front-end workflows (e.g. build tools, version control)
Contribute to smooth, modular CMS setups and page-building components
Collaborate with developers, designers, and project leads
Pick up tasks independently and own delivery to deadline
Essential
4–6+ years commercial web dev experience
Strong PHP and front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JS)
Confident working with Statamic and/or WordPress
Experience with custom CMS themes and reusable components
Comfortable with Git/Bitbucket and common dev workflows
Able to work independently, but collaborate effectively
Desirable
Familiarity with Figma-to-code workflows
Understanding of performance and UX fundamentals
Duration: 3–6 months
Availability: 2 days per week
Rate: £350–£400/day depending on experience
Location: In-office, remote or hybrid (UK-based preferred)
