The Challenge

Mycle needed a faster, more scalable ecommerce platform to support its growing product range. But conversion issues and UX challenges were holding them back.

Their existing website was hindered by:

  • Complex product setup using a customiser app, slowing load speed and created friction in the user journey

  • Limited flexibility for expansion, making it difficult to manage or launch new models

  • Poor product discoverability and unclear journeys — both impacting user confidence and CRO performance

The Solution

We rebuilt Mycle’s Shopify store from the ground up, guided by UX research, performance data, and CRO best practices:

  • Removed the customiser app and rebuilt product pages natively in Shopify to improve speed and simplify UX

  • Created standalone product entries with linked swatches for clearer navigation and better product understanding

  • Designed intuitive, modular collection pages to help users quickly browse Compact, Climber, and Classic bike types

  • Introduced product add-ons (like warranties and accessories) to improve AOV without compromising performance

  • Applied lightweight UX design and responsive breakpoints for optimal usability across devices
